Save Nov. 14 for a long ride*

Fall is here, and the current heat wave not withstanding, crisp air, early sunsets and cold mornings are on the way. So, better get in one last long ride of the year. Here's your invitation: On Monday, Nov. 14, Hobbit and I plan to head up the Grade to Santa Margarita, do the A-town rollers and wind up on Vineyard Drive. From there, intersect Highway 46 and climb up and over to Highway 1, then back to SLO. A moderate pace means an enjoyable, fellowship filed 90 miler. And as Doc points out, this route lets one experience every good part of SLO County scenery.
You know you want to do it! Yes, it's a Monday, but the boss will give you one day!

(Rain will likely cancel, but this is a La Nina year so hopefully it is dry).

*An officially sanctioned Linked Cycling SLO event!

Tad - I hope you got at least a couple guys to join you on the ride "off the radar". Not in the cards for me, too much going on.

I hear some chatter of a spring time 2012 Monterey to SLO ride in the works as well.....

And I heard a couple chumps jumped into Sea Otter in April as well...? Crazy talk
