I want to thank you all for your personal sacrifices in allowing your husbands to ride. I know your husbands may not feel comfortable leaving you all alone so that they can go minister to others, but really, as a couple, your teamwork and corporate sacrifice are surely tallied in heaven and you both are doing your part to participate in this world of need.
While your husbands are putting on stretchy pants in the darkness, and preparing to brave the frigid air and dangerous roads in order to be obedient to Gods call on their lives, it is not without recognition that you also may bear some of the burden. Getting the kids ready, making breakfast and preparing for the day while your husband slaves away on his bicycle I realize is no easy task either. But you are blessed for your commitment to sharing your husbands with the rest of those who are truly blessed by your ministry in this regard.
You see since riding with your husband, many of us have become much better husbands, constantly sharing with one another on the road how wonderful you all are. Often times we have to bully our way into the conversation to share the special things that make you you. You know, it’s the little things we hear about, how diligent, how patient, how constant in your affections and willingness to be rejected and scorned that others might receive love.
So the next time your husband is shaving his legs, or putting on an awkwardly tight fitting pair of spandex shorts and walking around the house looking for those special socks, and you are tempted to feel sorry for him and admire his commitment to others, remember yourself, because without you, none of this would be possible.

Tuesday Ride Pics
It was great to get out there this morning......been too long since we went for a sunrise ride, so enjoyable! Crash, Vertech, and I joined up on time and Torque showed up late, but at least he showed up! (Pretty sure his pace was much faster than any of ours, so gotta find something to rib him on) It started off cold, but in a matter of what seamed like 30 seconds, we were all shedding the layers for a beautiful morning. Here are some pics.....
Hope to see more of you out on the trails.......
Next rides:
- Jeff.....You doing the AG night ride tomorrow?
- Saturday's.......Roadie - Meet at Grace Church at 8am (Will be two routes. One short, one long)

Steven Cozza - A Different Kind of Cyclist
Many of you already know Steven Cozza. I believe this cyclist is special. Some may call him superdomestique. I would consider him more of a pure classics guy or a one day racer. Not a crit rider, but rather the guy who excels in gritty, one day classics with 150-260k races with bad conditions and unique landscapes.
I believe he will win some classics in the next two years and can represent Garmin in Paris Roubaix. He has the character to do it.
Check out this video if you want a glimpse of this young and spirited rider.

Watch it - it is worth it. Cycling from an outdoorsman perspective - which is cycling at it's core!

Tuesday Lunch Ride
I think I'm gonna do a quick lunch ride Tuesday. I know it isn't the best time for some, but figured I'd throw it out. Leaving Grace at 12:30, roll out to Port San Luis and back. Should be able to do it in about an hour. Respond via comment!

Prodigal Bike
Lost my bike out of the back of Tim's pickup Friday morning but check out the e-mail I got today...
Hey dude,
I have your bike. I work at the forest service station on high mountain road the bike is at the station. The address is 460 High mountain rd.
A reward is not necessary but if you feel so inclined we would be thankful if you brought over some cases of coors light. we get kinda thirsty after work.
We found the bike right by the dam we pulled over and loaded it up into our car. When we got to the station we called lopez lake and told them and they said we just missed you. We asked if you left your name and number but you didn't so thats why i went on craigslist. My name is Stephan My cell is 1805 915 7345 the station number is 1805 481 1280 we are here until 430pm today and we start back up at 800am.
alright brother im glad i could help get your bike back to you.

I haven't done a checkout to see what is broken but it looks pretty good other than a rear wheel flat and some scuffs... The guys at the Forest service station seemed liked good guys... and they liked the 3 cases of Coors light I brought! Thanks guys for grabbing and returning my bike!
I must admit that I was already thinking about the new bike that I would inevitably buy (more travel and different frame configuration), but my returned bike looks pretty sweet!
