9:00ish - Gavin Payne (local realtor extraordainre) is hosting a Tour event at the old Uptown...now Black Horse Cafe on Higuera near Firestone. He does this annually and it usually has a good showing of cyclists, his past and current clients, and friends. Open house setting. Black Horse is very biker friendly too.
I think Friday is the first real showdown between Lance and Alberto. Should be a great stage to watch.

Haven't seen much action here by way of comments. I'm out for at least road ride portion. May make it over for a cup of coffee...depends on when the stage ends. Going to try and get some work done while listening to tour and watching out of one way on versus.com. Pretty sweet live feed they have there....
There are still many from the area who will do the road ride mentioned in this post...
