I am registered for the American Mountain Challenge in Utah on August 21-24. MTB Stage Race. Looking for others to join.
Seriously considering the Downieville Classic. Guys trip ..leave Friday night. Race Saturday. Come up Saturday night. 12 to 14 hours of driving for a great race...I've heard. That's the same day as Race #2 of SB Summer Series....ummmm.

Could do the mt diablo, out for the other two b/c both of our summer camps land on those days! bummers!
Diablo sounds fun and we have some great training grounds around here to prepare for it! I am out for Utah. I say we stick to the SB series as much as we can....would be sweet to take some podium spots for the overall series. Thats a lot of driving for the Downieville, but I would like to ride it some day....I have heard great things about that long downhill section.
