Best of the County

Sneaker report...  Steve L. and I rode an all time county ride this morning seeing the best of the area.  We left downtown SLO, rode up the grade to Santa Margarita then through east Atascadero to Templeton on through to Hwy 46 up and over to Hwy 1 then back down Hwy 1 to SLO.   The Odometer read 81 miles.  We rode the flats, the mountains, the grades, the rural north county, the beautiful coastal -- we had a bit of everything.  As we rode, we met a guy named Joe just out of Templeton who owns JoeBella coffee roasting company, he invited us over to his coffee shop in Templeton for some fresh roasted coffee and a croissant!  Steve and I both agreed that we need to ride more north county in the future and for sure we need to stop in and visit our new coffee friend Joe @ Joebella's next to Trader Joe's!

That is a great ride, usually there also is a temperature difference of at least 30-40 degrees this time of year which also highlights the vast differences in the microclimates in our county.
