Memorial Day

Hope this is Ok with Skippy but have a plan for tomorrow that we tentatively talked about.

North County ride.... Meet at 6:30 am (its a holiday we can sleep in a little)  at Broad and Mission Lane,  pick up also at SLO HS tennis courts as we head out the grade (6:37 am).  Up the Grade, will regroup at Santa Margarita park and ride,  through Margarita, out Pozo road to Las Pilitas.  One of my favorite roads.  Las Pilitas is a stair step climb to Parkhill,  will either take Parkhill or Huero Huero to 58, 58 back to Margarita and back the grade to SLO.  Keep speed under control to avoid speed wobbles.  Should be about 45-50 miles with some climbing.  Usually about 2:45 to ride.  ? Starbucks at finish.  I heard Skippy had a epic day yesterday.... most be feeling well.... must have a great doctor..... ? ride report.

Giro notes -  Jens Voigt in break yesterday,  caught before the finish.  Ricardo Ricco the brash Italian in 2nd place gave nickname to Contador ..... "The Lifeguard".... evidently Contador was on a training break and drinking a beer at the beach when Bruyneel called him and told him he was riding in the Giro in a week.  Great nickname.  I predict Contador in pink at the end although very tight race.
