Stage 1 of the Giro is this Saturday and is a unique starting. It starts with a Team Time Trial (TTT). The teams ride a specified course like all time trials, but instead of riding it one at a time, they ride as a group and draft each other. The "team" time is the time it takes for the first four riders to cross the finish line. You'll see riders sacrificing themselves for the sake of their team and their GC (general classification) hopeful. Team Slipstream is one of the favorites for taking this stage!
